Chocolates are always a welcome gift at Christmas the season of over indulgence and these are simple to make.

You will need:

A silicon mold
Various chocolate {dark, white, milk} {you can use the cheapiest or most expensive chocolate it makes no difference to the end result}
A heat proof bowl

To make the chocolates:

  1. melt the chocolate in the bowl over a pan of water
  2. At this point if you want a decoration on top the chocolates place it in the bottom of the mould
  3. spoon chocolate into mould {at this point you can hide a surprise in the chocolates, nuts or fruit}
  4. leave to set, if essential this can be done in the fridge
  5. Pop out the mould and put into cellophane bags and tie with ribbon for a quick easy gift.
Here is a pic of some chocolates I've made:

  1. All of these are gorgeous, but the triple chocolate at the bottom is loveliest of all! ;)

  2. These look yummy but agree - the triple layer chocs look gorgeous....Mgt.x
