Mini Art Journal

This will make a fantasic gift for those people who still write 'diaries/jorunals'.  This one allows the recipient to not only express themselves with words but also experience the therapeutic qualities of colouring too. I have used a series of stamps to add a picture that can be coloured to each page.

To make this journal you will need:

  • A5/A4 cut in half plain cardstock
  • Stamps or digi images
  • Ribbon
  • Hole punch or cropodile
  • Eyelets if using a cropodile
How to make your Journal

  • If required cut the cardstock to size
  • Punch the holes at the top or side of the cardstock depending where you want to bind it
  • If you so wish, complete the holes with the eyelets using the cropodile {pictures to follow}
  • Stamp or adhere your pictures onto the journaling pages, I have also added a note for the recipient to write the date and a 'journal here' note.
  • Carefully thread ribbon through the holes/eyelets and tie in a bow to bind the journal.
  • To make the cover I have stamped a series of 'quotes' on the front page to inspire the recipient when writing in their journal.
